Go here to nominate an individual for Annapolitan of the Month. |
We honor a recently returned Annapolis native this weekend. He is related by blood to Team Naptown, as he is reservist Scooter's brother. This gentleman goes by Larry. One day in June, Larry witnessed an elderly neighbor being mugged right on the street. Without a moment's delay and with courage that is too often lacking these days, Larry took off in pursuit of the culprits, not physically catching them, but forcing them to drop the neighbor's wallet. In this day and age where people too often sit by and watch as bad things happen, it is great to see somebody actually taking action to right a wrong. Maybe he is a good guy, maybe he has just seen too many Charles Bronson movies, either way, he is our Team Naptown Annapolitan of the Month for July.
