Team Naptown is a loose coalition of friends, shenanigan pals and confidantes. A social club of the highest order, the team lives by the theory that life is there to be lived, not suffered through and that if somebody needs a little prodding to live that life at certain times, the team is there to help.

The team roster is limited to 10, but the membership is dynamic. At any given time, lack of participation in the team can lead to a retirement from the active roster. When this occurs, a spot is opened up for a new team member, who has to pass a rigorous nomination and confirmation process, which is kept secret from all those who are not members of the team. Retirement is never a permanent thing however. Coming out of retirement is not only allowed, but strongly encouraged.

So, after multiple requests for records of events and contacts for the team, a vote was taken and it was decided that a website was needed to keep the fans apprised of the ongoing adventures of Team Naptown. And this is it. Enjoy it. If you have any comments, suggestions, thoughts, whatever.... E-mail the Webmaster (webmaster@teamnaptown.com) or leave a message on the messageboard. Thank you and enjoy!

This is part of an e-mail message communicated to a local news outlet.....

Our website pertains to a young professionals social organization dedicated to living and growing in the Annapolis area... Annapolis and Anne Arundel County in general hasn't historically been the most hospitable areas for young professionals to settle... However, having grown up in the area, we feel that it's a great place to live... As such, we have created our orginazation in an attempt to keep individuals/families of similar demographics connected...

The organization is promoted primarily through friends of friend, we like to avoid formal marketing... however, our board has decided to create a website... Although we have reserved a domain name and some development has begun, we are still in the design phase... We felt that the ------ (or voice of Annapolis) is a great way to keep our members informed of local events... Specifically, I think your "Top Stories" link is a great introduction into the "goings-on" of Annapolis...

Hopefully this answers your question... If any clarification is needed, please do not hesitate to reply... Otherwise, I look forward to your website's up-and-coming features...
